What kind of pitching machines does Finnigan’s use?
1
In addition to our pitching machines, Finnigan’s has a variety of baseball and softball training equipment available for use during your tunnel rental, including baseballs, softballs, batting tees, baseball and softball pitching mounds, a 9-pocket pitching target, and a designated hitter.
If you would like to use any of these items, please request them ahead of your reservation so our team can have everything ready for you. Quantities are limited, so specific equipment may not always be available.
What baseball and softball training equipment is available to use?
2
Each tunnel is 12.5’ x 75’ and customizable with retractable netting, allowing the space to be opened up for larger group training, clinics, or team events.
How big are the tunnels?
3
Do I need a reservation, or do you accept walk-ins?
4
Reservations are recommended to guarantee availability and allow our team time to prepare your tunnel or golf simulator before you arrive. However, walk-ins are always welcome based on availability!
If the facility is at full capacity, reservations will begin and end at their scheduled times. Late arrivals will not receive additional time beyond their reservation end time.
If there is no reservation immediately following, employees may allow customers to use their full reserved time (30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.).
What happens if I'm late for my rental?
5
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own baseballs or softballs to use in our basic tunnel rentals. We also provide balls for use in the tunnels. Please note that our pitching machines use machine-grade balls only - do not mix personal baseballs or softballs with the machine balls.
Can I bring my own baseballs or softballs?
6
Absolutely! One of the benefits of our pitching machines is that you can use your own bat. Please keep in mind that repeated contact with any baseballs or softballs at high speeds can result in normal wear and tear to personal equipment.
Don't have a bat? No problem - we have bats available for customers to borrow.
Can I use my own bat?
7
Do I need a helmet?
8
Yes. Safety is our top priority, and helmets are required when using the pitching machines. If you don't have your own, we have helmets available to borrow.
Yes! Your reservation is for the tunnel, not an individual player. You are welcome to have multiple people rotate through the tunnel during your reserved time.
Can multiple people use the tunnel rental under one reservation?
9
Yes! Family and friends are welcome to watch. We have seating available both inside the training area and outside the cage windows. For everyone's safety, spectators must remain in designated viewing areas, stay clear of the batting cage nets, and follow all posted safety rules and staff instructions.
Can spectators come in?
10
Yes! Food and beverages purchased from Pins can be enjoyed in our golf simulator suites.
